About Bulod

Bulod is a growing community built around a slower way of living, one that cares for the land and the people who live on it. It’s calm, a bit rustic and intentionally simple, so you can step away from the rush and return to the basics.

Our Story

Before La Union, Bulod helped shape Daraitan, Tanay into one of the Philippines’ most loved camping destinations. We built alongside local communities, supporting a nature-based tourism journey that created opportunities while keeping the place grounded in what made it special.

Now we’re starting a new chapter in Caba, La Union, a quiet beach town near small grape farms, where days still feel unhurried and the air feels open.

We came here for the quiet, but also for the community. For the chance to build something steady and shared, again, with the same spirit of collaboration and care.

What “Bulod” means

Bulod means “mountain” in Bicol, a nod to the founders’ mix of Bicolano roots. The name carries where we come from, and the kind of life we want to create, one that’s steady, simple, and close to nature.
