About Bulod
Bulod is a growing community built around a slower way of living, one that cares for both the land and the people who call it home. It is calm, a bit rustic, and intentionally simple, creating spaces where people can step away from the rush and reconnect with what matters most.
Our Story
Bulod helped shape Daraitan, Tanay into one of the Philippines' most loved camping destinations. Built alongside local communities, it became a place where nature, meaningful experiences, and sustainable tourism came together while preserving what made the destination special.
We carried those lessons forward to Caba, La Union, creating a quiet coastal retreat where the same spirit of slow living, thoughtful hospitality, and connection with nature found a new home by the sea.
Drawing from everything we've learned along the way, we then built our Urban Hub in Uptown BGC, bringing the mountains, the coast, and the city together into one connected ecosystem. Each space offers a different rhythm, yet all share the same philosophy: creating places where people can live, work, gather, and reconnect, wherever they are.
What “Bulod” means
Bulod means “mountain” in Bicol, a nod to the founders’ mix of Bicolano roots. The name carries where we come from, and the kind of life we want to create, one that’s steady, simple, and close to nature.
Our mission is to improve livelihoods by building spaces that create meaningful opportunities for local communities while enhancing the quality of life of our guests through experiences inspired by slow living and nature.
